FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Twin Cities Friends Meeting relies on donations from Friends to maintain the meetinghouse, support the work of our community, and offer support to Quaker organizations. TCFM does not accept donations designated for a particular purpose, as we all make decisions as a community about how to use our resources.
Just as our personal budgets have been challenged in the past year with rising inflationary costs, so too our Meeting’s budget has been challenging. We’ve had a major repair to our elevator ($111,500) and we purchased the DTEN system ($9,360) that has made it possible for us to implement blended meetings, with some present in person and some online. This has allowed a unity of time together. Our outward service is fueled by the depth of our inward worship, which is sustained by our time together, both in person and online.
